"The Silence of the Rain," written in 1996, was one of the most impactful books of my teenage years. Inspired by this gripping thriller, I revisited Garcia-Roza's masterpiece to design a cover that captures the essence of its mysterious crime set against the rainy nights of Rio de Janeiro. Creating this illustration was as intense and captivating as following Detective Espinosa’s journey through the twists and turns of the story.
